3DFS – Ultimaker 3 Safety Enclosure Kit Incl. Activated Carbon and HEPA Filtration Systems

There are many reasons to enclose your 3D printer, but the two main advantages of purchasing an add-on enclosure like the 3DFS are to maintain internal thermal conditions and to prevent fumes from invading your workspace. 

Ultimate 3D Printing Store has developed the sturdiest professional series enclosure lid available on the market. This enclosure lid is compatible with five Ultimaker 3D printers, including the company’s flagship machine, the Ultimaker S5, as well as the Ultimaker 3, Ultimaker 3 Extended, Ultimaker 2+ and Ultimaker 2 Extended.

Currently, there is no “factory” enclosure available for the Ultimaker series of 3D printers. The Ultimaker S5 does come with front-opening doors from the factory. Our 3DFS safety enclosure for the Ultimaker series of printers, excluding the Ultimaker S5, comes with both a spring-loaded, front-opening door and a lid for easy access. 

The 3DFS safety enclosure is entirely clear, allowing you to see inside your machine at any time during the printing process.

And it comes with the 3DFS activated carbon and HEPA filter, and all mounting hardware.

To maximize the life of your enclosure, we recommend that you never use a cleaning solution that contains ammonia when cleaning the enclosure. Traditional cleaners such as Windex or Formula 409 will do more harm than good. We advise customers to only use products that are specifically recommended for cleaning acrylic surfaces, such as Novus Plastic Polish #1, Brillianize Plastic and Glass Cleaner Polish or Plexus Plastic Cleaner, Protectant and Polish.
