Polymaker PolyMide PA6-GF- Grey 1.75MM, .5KG
A higher interlayer adhesion compared to unreinforced PA6.
PolyMide PA6-GF is a glass fiber reinforced PA6 (Nylon 6) filament. The material exhibits excellent thermal and mechanical properties without sacrificing the layer adhesion.

Polymaker PolyMide PA6-GF Details:
Fiber Adhesion Technology
Fiber Adhesion Technology dramatically improves the Z-axis strength by engineering the surface chemistry of the fibers to achieve a strong fiber and matrix bonding. In contrast to conventional fiber-reinforced filaments, which exhibit considerable reduction in Z-axis strength, the PolyMide PA6-GF has a higher interlayer adhesion in comparison to the unreinforced PA6.
Wear Resistant Nozzle Recommendation
The PolyMide PA6-GF consists of 25% chopped glass fibers by weight which makes it abrasive. It is important to have an abrasion resistant nozzle to avoid damage to your nozzle. A hardened nozzle is highly recommended while using this filament.
Bed Surface
Although Polymide PA6-GF can be printed on almost any surface with a thin coat of PVA glue or Magigoo PA, it comes highly recommended that while using the Polymaker Polymide PA6-GF, a flex plate is used for an easy removal of the model from the plate.
Dry Box System
PolyMide PA6-GF is a polyamide 6 based material which means that it is susceptible to absorbing moisture from the atmosphere which can subsequently affect the quality and mechanical properties of the final prints.
If the filament has absorbed moisture it can be dried at 80˚C for 12 hours in a convection oven.
